You should be comfortable with areas such as: Diesel diagnostics and drivability Electrical diagnostics Fuel and emissions systems Brakes Steering and suspension Cooling systems General diesel repair and maintenance You do not need to know everything. You do need to care about doing quality work, be willing to learn, and take ownership of the work you perform.
