Job Description

Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Field Service Engineer for a local manufacturing company in Greenville, South Carolina! This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced engineering professional responsible for installing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing automated ultrasonic inspection systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with automated robotic systems, large multi-disciplinary machinery, and preferably ultrasonic inspection technology and NDT. This position will work directly with customers and internal teams while supporting projects and service needs both independently and collaboratively. The position requires frequent travel to customer locations, with travel expected to exceed 50% of the time.

Job Responsibilities:
Install, commission, and service automated ultrasonic inspection systems. Troubleshoot automated inspection systems through remote connections and on-site service visits. Provide on-site technical support with assistance from remote technical resources when needed. Work directly with customers to address installation, commissioning, and service-related needs. Provide customer training based on knowledge and experience gained with clients systems. Follow up with customers regarding ongoing projects and service-related topics. Maintain accurate records of all work performed. Document and report service findings, resolutions, and technical solutions to managers and customers. Communicate technical information and service updates clearly and professionally. Travel to customer locations as needed to perform installation, service, troubleshooting, and technical support. Work independently on customer projects while also collaborating with internal teams. Perform additional field service and engineering-related duties as assigned. Field Service Engineer -
Requirements and Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or practical engineering degree in engineering or a related field. 3+ years of experience installing large, automated, multi-disciplinary machinery. Strong understanding of automated robotic systems. Experience with ultrasonic inspection technology and NDT preferred. Experience with NDT and UT systems is an advantage. Certified electrician. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively with customers in a professional, technical environment. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid forklift license with the ability to safely move heavy machinery. Valid drivers license and ability to travel frequently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to accurately document work performed, findings, resolutions, and solutions. Field Service Engineer -
Travel & Additional Requirements:
Valid drivers license with the ability to travel frequently. Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites more than 50% of the time. Must have a personal credit card available for business travel expenses. Business travel expenses will be reimbursed during the following pay period.
