Full-Time | Emergency Restoration Services Make a Difference When It Matters Most SERVPRO of Spartanburg is seeking dependable, hardworking Restoration Technicians to join our growing team. As a Restoration Technician, you'll help homeowners and businesses recover after water, fire, mold, storm, and other property damage events. Every day is different. You'll respond to emergency losses, perform mitigation services, operate specialized equipment, and work alongside a team committed to providing exceptional service during some of our customers' most challenging moments. Whether you have restoration experience or are looking to start a rewarding career, we're willing to train individuals who have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and desire to learn. Responsibilities Respond to emergency water, fire, mold, storm, and biohazard restoration projects. Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, debris removal, and cleaning services. Set up and monitor drying equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers. Perform contents manipulation, packing, and cleaning when necessary. Document work performed using company software, including photos and job notes. Follow IICRC standards and company procedures. Maintain a clean, organized company vehicle and equipment. Communicate professionally with customers, coworkers, and supervisors. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety guidelines. Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours emergency services. Qualifications Restoration experience is preferred but not required . Construction, demolition, general labor, or related experience is a plus. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to pass a background check and drug screening. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally lift heavier items with assistance. Comfortable working in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments. Ability to climb ladders, crawl in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods. Strong communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT, etc.) Experience operating restoration equipment. Previous emergency services or restoration industry experience.
