OEM Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Provide shop / field service support when called upon for various types of aerial, diesel equipment and machinery
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, including diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and fuel systems
Operate aerial equipment, heavy equipment and power tools as needed to complete shop and service tasks
Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
Keep "Detailed" and accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed
Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate service schedules in an efficient and timely manner
Educate customers on proper operating use of equipment when necessary
Perform additional duties as necessary in support of branch operational logistics
Experience:
You MUST have a proven track record and experience in a similar role as a shop / field mechanic or "DO_NOT" APPLY
Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and procedures
Excellent knowledge in diagnostics, fuel systems, electrical and diesel maintenance
Master level experience with aerial work platforms and diesel engine required
Superb mechanical skills and ability to use power tools effectively to deliver solutions
A proven and verifiable understanding of the rental industry electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in customers "UP-Time"
