OEM Full Job Description Responsibilities:
- Provide shop / field service support when called upon for various types of aerial, diesel equipment and machinery
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment, including diagnostics, electrical systems, hydraulic systems and fuel systems
- Operate aerial equipment, heavy equipment and power tools as needed to complete shop and service tasks
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide effective solutions
- Keep "Detailed" and accurate records of service activities, including parts used and work performed
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers to coordinate service schedules in an efficient and timely manner
- Educate customers on proper operating use of equipment when necessary
- Perform additional duties as necessary in support of branch operational logistics
Experience:
- You MUST have a proven track record and experience in a similar role as a shop / field mechanic or "DO_NOT" APPLY
- Knowledge of OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) guidelines and procedures
- Excellent knowledge in diagnostics, fuel systems, electrical and diesel maintenance
- Master level experience with aerial work platforms and diesel engine required
- Superb mechanical skills and ability to use power tools effectively to deliver solutions
- A proven and verifiable understanding of the rental industry electrical and mechanical systems with the ability to troubleshoot issues resulting in customers "UP-Time"
