Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance on LP and electric forklifts to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on forklift and heavy equipment. Carry out repairs on forklift components, including hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and LP fuel systems. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential problems and recommend appropriate maintenance or repairs. Test equipment after service to verify proper operation and adherence to safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on each piece of equipment. Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on equipment in the warehouse environment. Communicate clearly with internal customers and team members regarding equipment status, repair needs, and timelines. Handle physically demanding tasks, including lifting components and parts up to 75 lbs as needed for repairs. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience troubleshooting electric or LP systems on forklifts or similar equipment. Hands-on experience with forklift maintenance and repair. Knowledge of hydraulic systems and their maintenance on heavy equipment. Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues on industrial equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs safely and repeatedly as part of daily tasks. Excellent customer service skills and clear communication with internal stakeholders. Commitment to safety and adherence to established procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience working with heavy equipment in a warehouse or industrial setting. Ability to work independently with very little supervision.
