Industrial Lift Truck Maintenance Technologist (Mid-Level) Your mission: keep critical material handling fleets safe, reliable, and ready. In this mid-level role, you'll specialize in either LP or electric systems while performing full-spectrum maintenance on both. ATF Tune-ups:
valve adjustments, spark plug and wire replacement Brake and riser adjustments Wheel bearing inspections and repacking Battery care on schedule: inspection and watering Battery removal, repair, and installation Cosmetic upkeep: equipment paint touch-ups Attachment pad rotations Component swaps: horns, lights, tires, and related parts Diagnose and correct basic overheating conditions Steering system troubleshooting and repair Performance expectations: 30 PMs/month and 80-90% productivity Required background 1-2 years troubleshooting experience on electric or LP equipment Demonstrated ability to execute basic repairs on electric or LP forklifts and attachments Working knowledge of electrical, LP, and hydraulic systems; DVOM proficiency Ability to interpret wiring schematics and follow service manuals Customer service mindset; effective oral and written communication Comfort with MS Office and related computer applications Personal hand tools required Post-high school/technical education preferred, not required Work conditions Lift/pull 75 lbs or more without restriction Operate outdoors in adverse weather Work in environments with high noise and respiratory hazards without restriction Stand or lie down for extended repair tasks Flex, reach, and maneuver to access difficult components Travel as needed Core competencies Mechanical troubleshooting Hydraulic systems and components Electrical troubleshooting Equipment diagnostics Platforms you'll support Material handling systems Sit-down and reach forklifts General forklift fleets Ready to apply?
