In this energetic role, you will leverage your extensive mechanical knowledge and technical expertise to ensure optimal system performance across commercial and residential properties. Your leadership will drive quality service delivery, uphold safety standards, and enhance customer satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, troubleshoot complex systems, and contribute to building comfort and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive HVAC system installation, including ductwork, equipment setup, and integration with building automation systems. Conduct routine maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC/R systems to ensure reliable operation. Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and electrical diagnostics tools; troubleshoot equipment failures efficiently. Repair and service refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning systems, plumbing connections, and mechanical systems. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents to execute precise installations and repairs. Utilize hand tools and mechanical skills to troubleshoot equipment issues; replace faulty components as needed. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining system functions, repair procedures, and maintenance recommendations clearly. Skills Extensive construction experience with HVAC system installation and property maintenance projects. Proven service technician experience with a focus on HVAC system repair, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance. Strong understanding of schematics, HVAC design principles, electrical systems, building automation systems (BAS), and plumbing. Mechanical knowledge of HVAC/R equipment including refrigeration units, boilers, air conditioning units, and ventilation systems. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics for troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC equipment. Ability to read technical blueprints and schematics accurately for installation or repair purposes. Familiarity with hand tools, mechanical systems repair techniques, and equipment troubleshooting strategies. EPA certification for refrigerant handling; knowledge of HVAC/R regulations is essential. Excellent customer service skills with a professional approach to client interactions.
