Job Description
Air Ecology Inc. is hiring Service Technicians for residential and light-commercial heating, cooling, and heat pump work. You'll diagnose, repair, maintain, and talk straight with customers — backed by a company that's building modern maintenance and monitoring, not just "fix it and leave." What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair split systems, heat pumps, mini-splits, and light-commercial equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance and explain findings clearly
- Handle refrigerant work to EPA standards; document parts and labor accurately
- Work with thermostats, controls, and remote monitoring setups
- Keep the truck stocked and jobsites respectful of the customer's home
- Cover calls across lower Westchester and nearby Greenwich, CT What we're looking for
- 2+ years residential or light-commercial HVAC service (strong installers moving into service considered)
- EPA Section 608 Type II or Universal required
- Solid troubleshooting on gas heat, AC, and heat pumps
- Clean driving record and valid driver's license
- Clear communicator; no upselling that isn't real value
- NATE or state/local license a plus
Pay:
$17- 25/hour based on experience, with a pay/evaluation meeting at 3 months.
