Electro-Mechanical Assembly Technician —
Optics & Precision Systems Location:
Mc Kinney, TX 75071
Contract:

Workweek:
9/80 schedule A day on the line You suit up in cleanroom PPE, step into the EODAS factory, and begin building precision electro‑optical hardware that supports next‑generation technology for the warfighter.
Your bench is set:
torque tools calibrated, soldering iron ready, bonding agents labeled, and documentation queued. Through the shift, you assemble and verify components—machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and intricate optical assemblies—following detailed work instructions and technical drawings. You'll handle chemicals with care, perform delicate wire sleeving, and complete soldering and bonding operations.
Quality is constant:
you inspect, repair when required, and document results. Cross‑training keeps the work dynamic, and your input fuels continuous improvement in cost, quality, and schedule performance. What you'll do Perform mechanical and electro‑mechanical assembly in a cleanroom using calibrated torque tools, fasteners, and precision fixtures. Handle and integrate machined housings, circuit cards, mirrors, motors, and optical assemblies. Execute wire sleeving, soldering, and bonding with meticulous hand dexterity; use chemicals safely. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and mechanical systems as required. Follow test instructions, technical drawings, and process documentation accurately. Maintain certifications and support cross‑training across work centers. Contribute to daily production activities that drive continuous improvement. Shifts and pay 1st: 6:00 AM

60/hr What you'll bring At least 2 years of work experience, with a track record of working productively with minimal supervision. Self‑motivation and comfort in a fast‑paced production setting. Ability to read and follow test instructions, technical drawings, and process/test documentation. Ability to wear PPE for 8+ hours per day and work in a cleanroom environment.
