WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Wash Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining the equipment, systems, and facilities at our Blaine and Mounds View locations. You will play a critical role in keeping both washes operating safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime. Specifically, you will:

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on car wash equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and equipment issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and proactively identify potential problems before they result in downtime.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, water systems, dryers, and other car wash equipment.
• Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance, including water lines, valves, pumps, and related systems.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting and repairs, including motors, switches, sensors, wiring, and electrical components.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and maintenance needs at both locations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, parts, and equipment issues.
• Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or services are needed.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
• Help ensure both locations are clean, safe, well-maintained, and operating according to Tommy's brand standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, efficiency, and overall wash performance.
• Partner with Site Leaders and the General Manager to prioritize maintenance needs and minimize operational disruptions.
• Training others on wash maintenance equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and ensure maintenance work is completed safely and properly.
• Be available to assist with urgent maintenance needs and weekend issues as needed.

WHAT YOU NEED

• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
• Demonstrated plumbing experience is required.
• Demonstrated electrical experience is required.
• Previous experience maintaining commercial or industrial equipment is strongly preferred.
• Experience with pumps, motors, water systems, conveyors, or similar equipment is preferred.
• Ability to diagnose problems and determine appropriate solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Site Leaders, management, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond appropriately to unexpected equipment issues.
• High energy and willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and perform physical maintenance tasks as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation between the Blaine and Mounds View locations.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday from approximately 2:00pm-10:00pm, flexing mornings and weekends as needed.
