Head of Maintenance Job Summary:

The Maintenance manager is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance team, guiding and giving direction to the department. To manage execution of a Maintenance program. The maintenance manager should also be able to complete minor store repairs. The maintenance manager oversees the chemical usage in the store to meet the store budget. Oversee floor care vendor and sanitation.

Responsibilities:

Meeting quarterly budget: This refers to floor care, sanitation and chemical usage Creating the weekly schedule on work force for the Maintenance team Manage 3rd party vendors and is responsible for the weekly sign off Evaluates minor repair needs, this includes placing work order on Service Channel platform. Utilize Core platform to insure all cleaning tasks are being followed according to schedule Manage internal and external teams to meet our cleaning standards to accomplish a good store appearance Manage repair vendors in your store, this includes:

• Change batteries in flushometers
• Hang or tighten boards, wall fixtures
• Replace floor or ceiling tile
• Change lightbulbs when possible
• Replace batteries in faucets
• Install/replace bathroom stall locks
• Tighten screws when needed
• Some tools will be provided to the store Being able to comprehend our processes thru a walk and 5S lean measurements Basic Microsoft Communication and leadership skills Determine any cleaning project needed to improve store appearance Leadership training To clean the store, maintain the daily cleaning logs filled with integrity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA

Requirements

• Ability to work in an office and retail environment
• May be required to lift up to 30 pounds
• Requires sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking on the telephone, attending in-person meetings, typing, and working with paper/files, etc.
• Consistent timeliness and regular attendance.
• Must be flexible with shifts, depending on what project is required in the store, weekends are required.
