Builds, brazes, tests, and supports optimization of refrigeration systems and components for manufacturing applications. Job Requirements 1+ years of experience building, brazing, and evaluating refrigeration systems and components. Experience brazing copper refrigeration piping. Experience with pipe bending and fabrication of copper refrigerant systems. Knowledge of accurate pipe bending using standard bending equipment. Ability to read and interpret refrigeration prints and piping diagrams. Ability to interpret pipe and bend dimensions from engineering drawings. Experience using piping and bending tools. Experience with refrigeration loops, heat exchangers, and fluid-flow systems. Experience with heat transfer systems. Knowledge of refrigeration system assembly and component installation. Ability to build systems to defined technical specifications and performance requirements. Preferred Skills Experience supporting refrigeration system design optimization. Experience with design-for-assembly improvements. Experience supporting cost-reduction and sustainability initiatives. Knowledge of environmentally compliant refrigeration system design. Experience developing or supporting system, subsystem, and component performance specifications. Experience evaluating refrigeration system performance. Google Workspace application experience. Job Responsibilities Build refrigeration systems according to engineering requirements, project schedules, and established specifications. Braze copper refrigeration piping and assemblies. Bend and form refrigerant piping according to engineering drawings and dimensional requirements. Assemble refrigeration loops, heat exchangers, piping, and related components. Read and interpret refrigeration prints, piping diagrams, and technical drawings. Evaluate completed refrigeration systems and components for performance and workmanship. Support development of system-level, subsystem-level, and component-level performance specifications. Identify and implement design optimization opportunities. Support quality improvements through minor product and process upgrades. Support design-for-assembly and cost-reduction initiatives. Support refrigeration system improvements related to sustainability and environmental requirements. Ensure refrigeration system builds meet applicable regulatory and environmental requirements. Support testing and evaluation of refrigeration, heat transfer, and fluid-flow systems.
Pay:
