Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Marine Tech/ Small Engine Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in diagnosing and fixing Marine and small engines. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary. As a Small Engine Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and reliable equipment. Duties Diagnose and repair small engines, including marine engines, ATV's , and other outdoor power equipment. Perform routine maintenance on various types of machinery to ensure optimal performance. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks. Conduct thorough inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems. Collaborate with team members to maintain a clean and organized workspace. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly about repairs needed and services provided. Keep accurate records of work performed on each piece of equipment. Assist in training junior technicians as needed. Requirements Proven experience in small engine repair or related fields such as automotive repair or diesel engine repair. Familiarity with dealership operations is a plus. Ability to weld is desirable for certain repair tasks. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices. Capacity for heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required during repairs. Proficient in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
