The Flaggers will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of construction sites by directing traffic and managing the flow of vehicles around work zones. This position requires strong communication skills using radios with other flaggers, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. The ideal candidates will have 2+ years experience in traffic Control and common senses. Flaggers must be reliable & dependable. All Flaggers must have a current flagging certification from ATSSA or Evergreen Safety Council and government issued picture ID and be legal to work in the USA. Must have own 18 inch regulation stop/slow paddle, yellow class 2 (or higher) vest and white hard hat, a radio and own reliable vehicle. Our jobs are in the Boise Valley area. It is not feasible to drive to and from our job sites daily, from places outside the Boise Valley areas such as Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Twin Falls, etc. Please do not apply here, if you live too far away to commute daily to our work areas in the Boise Valley. Responsibilities Direct traffic around construction sites using appropriate hand signals and signage. Ensure the safety of workers and pedestrians by monitoring traffic flow. Communicate effectively with construction crews and motorists. Set up and dismantle traffic control devices as needed. Monitor site conditions and report any hazards or issues to supervisors. Communicate effectively with other flaggers on the job site Skills Ability to stand for long periods of time Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly to both crew members and the public. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety. Experience in Flagging.
