Job Description

Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) -
Travel Contract Location:
La Plata, MD Contract:
16 weeks |
Schedule:
5x8-hour Mid Shift, 12:00 PM-8:30 PM We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to join a busy, multispecialty OR team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of sterile processing experience , strong lead-level skills, and hands-on expertise in instrument decontamination, tray assembly, sterilization, and OR case preparation
Requirements:
2+ years of SPT experience; lead experience required
IAHCSMM/HSPA
certification required Travel experience required; strong first-time travelers may be considered Experience with
STERRAD, STERIS
autoclaves, and washers Knowledge of aseptic technique, HLD, biological/chemical indicators, and specialty instrument processing Comfortable with weekend/on-call rotation, holidays, and floating within the department Why Apply?
