Job Title:
CNC Mill Operator Job Description This role focuses on operating CNC mill machines using Fanuc controllers to produce high-quality components for data center, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing projects. Responsibilities Operate CNC mill machines, including Haas and Fedal brands, using Fanuc controllers to produce precision parts. Perform basic G and M code edits at the machine to adjust programs as needed for quality and efficiency. Complete tool changes and monitor tool wear to maintain consistent machining performance. Troubleshoot machining, tooling, robotic, and process issues to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and related documentation to ensure accurate part production. Essential Skills 1 to 3 years of CNC operating experience or completion of a trade school degree in a related field. Hands-on experience operating CNC mills, preferably with Haas and Fedal machines. Experience working with Fanuc controllers and performing basic G and M code edits. Prior CNC production operating experience in a manufacturing environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Trade school degree or formal training in CNC machining or a related technical discipline. Experience handling machining projects for data centers, agriculture, and industrial manufacturing applications. Familiarity with troubleshooting robotic and automated processes in a machining environment. The shop utilizes CNC mill machines, including Haas and Fedal equipment on Fanuc controllers, along with manual machines and a range of inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, CMMs, and gauges. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of St Paul, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
