Arrow Electronics is seeking a Programming Machine Operator I to support overnight production in our wholesale electronics distribution center. In this role, you will set up, program, and operate automated machines to process electronic components according to specifications. Responsibilities include reading work orders, loading materials, performing basic quality checks, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards. Responsibilities Set up, program, and operate automated machines for electronic component processing Read and follow work orders, job travelers, and specifications Load and unload components and materials safely and accurately Perform routine quality checks and measurements to meet standards Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues or jams Maintain accurate production, count, and system records Follow all safety, ESD, and housekeeping procedures in the work area Collaborate with production, logistics, and quality teams to meet schedules Assist with basic preventive maintenance and reporting equipment issues Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives Required Skills CNC or automated machine operation Equipment setup and calibration Basic PLC or machine interface use Reading technical drawings or work orders Electronic component handling Quality inspection and measurement tools Basic mechanical troubleshooting Computer literacy for production systems Adherence to safety procedures Inventory and material tracking
