Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a CNC Lathe Operator specializing in Fanuc controls! In this energized role, you'll be at the forefront of precision metal machining, operating and setting up CNC lathes to produce high-quality components. Your expertise will drive efficiency, accuracy, and excellence in our manufacturing processes. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for machining technology, this is your opportunity to make a tangible impact through your skills and dedication. 1st shift, 6:00am-4:30pm Monday-Thursday, possible 6:00am-12:00pm Friday overtime Duties Set up and operate CNC lathes equipped with Fanuc controls to produce metal parts according to detailed blueprints and specifications Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise machining operations Utilize CNC G-code programming and M-code commands to execute accurate machining sequences Perform machine setup, calibration, and tool changes using manual tools, calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments Conduct quality inspections using measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify part dimensions and adherence to GD&T standards Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols during machine operation and setup Troubleshoot machining issues, adjust programs or setups as needed, and perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment including grinders and milling machines Experience Proven experience operating CNC lathe machines with Fanuc controls in a manufacturing environment Basic knowledge of CNC programming including G-code, M-code Skilled in reading mechanical blueprints and interpreting mechanical blueprints for precise machining task Understanding of CNC quality inspection processes including measurement (quality control), and use of precision measurement instruments Mechanical knowledge related to CNC Lathe Ability to perform machine setup on CNC lathes efficiently while ensuring safety standards are met Basic math skills for calculating measurements and tolerances necessary for precision manufacturing Join us in shaping the future of manufacturing by bringing your CNC lathe expertise into an innovative environment where quality meets efficiency. Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
