Tube Laser Operator | $20 to $26/hr | Streetsboro, OH Run brand-new tube laser equipment from the market leader, with first, second and third shift openings. Artisan Resource Group is hiring Tube Laser Operators for a Streetsboro, Ohio precision metal fabricator that recently added new tube lasers, including a large-capacity machine for long-length material. Pay is $20 to $26 an hour based on experience, plus a $3 an hour shift differential on second and third shift, with full benefits.

WHAT YOU'LL DO AS A TUBE LASER OPERATOR

• Set up and run a CNC tube laser to cut tube, pipe and structural profiles to print
• Load material with an overhead crane or forklift
• Watch the cut and adjust speed, power and gas settings to protect quality and cut scrap
• Check finished parts with calipers, tape measures and other precision tools
• Do basic machine upkeep, work through cutting head and nozzle issues, and report equipment problems
• Read prints, work orders and cut programs to choose the right material and settings
• Keep accurate piece counts and scrap records
• Follow all safety rules, including PPE, machine guarding and lockout/tagout

WHAT YOU BRING AS A TUBE LASER OPERATOR

• Tube laser experience is highly preferred. BLM, Trumpf, Mazak or similar platforms
• 1+ years running CNC or laser equipment in a fabrication or manufacturing setting
• Ability to read prints and work orders, and to use calipers and tape measures
• Basic shop math and an eye for detail
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely around cranes and forklifts
• Nice to have: forklift or crane certification, familiarity with structural steel and tube profiles, basic CAD/CAM or cut-program software

SHIFTS AND PAY FOR A TUBE LASER OPERATOR

• First, second and third shift available
• $20 to $26 per hour, based on experience
• $3 per hour shift differential on second and third shift
