You power up a DMG Mori, load a fresh fixture you dialed in, set tools and offsets with care, and bring a complex 5‑sided part to life—holding tight tolerances and a flawless finish. About the Role We're seeking an experienced CNC professional to run and set up 5‑axis milling centers on a full‑time, day‑shift schedule. You'll own your jobs end‑to‑end—from blueprint to inspection—ensuring every part meets spec and every cycle is efficient and safe. What You'll Take On Configure, set up, and operate 5‑axis CNC milling machines Run production on DMG Mori equipment and similar platforms Interpret prints, models, and machining specifications with confidence Set tooling, establish work offsets, and choose/verify workholding and fixtures Inspect parts using precision instruments to confirm tolerances Tune programs, offsets, and tooling to sustain part quality and throughput Troubleshoot machining issues to keep production moving smoothly Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing standards What You Bring Hands‑on 5‑axis CNC milling background Proven CNC setup capability Ability to read and work independently from blueprints and drawings Experience using micrometers, calipers, and gauges for precision measurement Strong understanding of tooling, speeds/feeds, tolerances, and machining strategy DMG Mori experience strongly preferred; comparable 5‑axis platforms welcomed Mechanical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail, and a quality mindset Core Proficiencies GD&T application and print interpretation CNC tooling selection and optimization CNC programming fundamentals G‑code and M‑code literacy Setup and changeover of CNC equipment Hand metrology and precision measurement Advanced inspection and gaging techniques Efficient setups for production runs Tools & Technologies You'll Use CNC Mills (3-4 axis VMCs):
