Job Description
About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Specialist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in multi-axis machining to produce complex, high-tolerance components while optimizing production workflows and ensuring superior part quality. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and operate advanced 5-axis milling centers to meet rigorous production schedules. Interpret intricate engineering blueprints and technical drawings to ensure precise component geometry. Manage tool offsets, workholding configurations, and fixture adjustments to maximize machine efficiency and throughput. Utilize advanced hand metrology and precision inspection tools to verify that all parts strictly adhere to engineering specifications. Proactively troubleshoot machining processes, adjusting feeds, speeds, and tooling strategies to maintain consistent quality standards. Collaborate with the production team to streamline changeovers and reduce cycle times for high-precision runs. Maintain a high-performance work environment by adhering to established safety protocols and quality management systems. Qualifications Required Skills Extensive hands-on experience with 5-axis CNC mill operation and machine setup. Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and GD&T standards. Strong technical knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming logic. Demonstrated ability to use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and height gauges. Solid understanding of machining dynamics, including tooling selection, speeds, and feeds. Preferred Skills Prior experience operating high-end equipment such as DMG Mori, Mazak, or similar multi-axis platforms. Familiarity with modern CAM software packages like Mastercam, Esprit, or Fusion 360. Proven track record of maintaining high-quality output in a fast-paced production environment.
