Job Description
Overview Skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer for manufacturing to operate, program, and set up. Duties Program, set up, and operate CNC machines Interpret mechanical blueprints and designs Select appropriate tooling and fixtures for various machining operations while ensuring optimal tool life and performance. Perform precision measurement using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges Conduct machining tool setup and calibration Maintain detailed documentation of programs, setups, measurements, and quality inspections for traceability. Experience Minimum of five years of CNC Machine and Programming experience. Understanding of blueprint reading skills with the ability to interpret mechanical drawings accurately. Mechanical knowledge related to tooling selection, fixture setup, geometry calculations, and precision measurement instruments like bore gauges and micrometers. Ability to interpret engineering drawings with GD&T specifications for precision manufacturing. Strong math skills essential for measurement conversions, tolerances calculations, and program adjustments. Must pass background check and drug screen as well as have reliable transportation. $27 - $39 per hour, depending on experience.
