Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Body Shop Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles after repairs, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced work environment, while maintaining high standards. Pay is based on experience and efficiency, with bonuses based on time turned. Responsibilities Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primers, paints, coatings, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint sprayers with precision and consistency Use hand tools, grinders, and power tools to perform surface repairs, sanding, and finishing tasks Conduct auto body refinishing tasks including buffing, detailing, and auto restoration for a polished final look Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols such as respiratory protection standards Collaborate with technicians and estimators to ensure quality standards are met throughout the repair process Skills Proven experience in auto body painting within a dealership or collision repair environment (dealership experience preferred) Proficiency with automotive buffing, sanding, surface preparation, masking techniques, and coating application Skilled in using hand tools, grinders, spray guns (including airless systems), and power tools for surface finishing Knowledge of automotive surface preparation techniques and auto painting best practices We look forward to hearing from you!
