TITLE Electrical Technician

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, an Electrical Technician will conduct repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce a high quantity of product/system assemblies without sacrificing quality. Primary Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical systems, including cable harnesses and other wired mechanical assemblies.
- Neatly solder, route and terminate wiring in a variety of applications.
- Experience with IPC-620 and/or J-STD electrical standards is preferred
- Effectively communicating engineering or manufacturing issues with others.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned Knowledge and Skill
- Proficient in reading, understanding, and building to mechanical prints and electrical schematics or run sheets.
- Proficient with soldering
- Experience with pin and lug crimpers is preferred
- Neatness and attention to detail.
- Teamwork and strong orientation skills.
- Problem solving/analysis, decision making skills.
- Proficient with all common hand tools and measuring equipment.
- A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
- Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
