TITLE Electrical Technician
DESCRIPTION JF

Our goal is to meet or exceed our customers' expectations for quality, on-time delivery, and service conformity. Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, an Electrical Technician will conduct repetitive bench or line assembly operations to produce a high quantity of product/system assemblies without sacrificing quality. Primary Responsibilities
  • Assemble and wire electrical and mechanical systems, including cable harnesses and other wired mechanical assemblies.
  • Neatly solder, route and terminate wiring in a variety of applications.
  • Experience with IPC-620 and/or J-STD electrical standards is preferred
  • Effectively communicating engineering or manufacturing issues with others.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned Knowledge and Skill
  • Proficient in reading, understanding, and building to mechanical prints and electrical schematics or run sheets.
  • Proficient with soldering
  • Experience with pin and lug crimpers is preferred
  • Neatness and attention to detail.
  • Teamwork and strong orientation skills.
  • Problem solving/analysis, decision making skills.
  • Proficient with all common hand tools and measuring equipment.
  • A thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of special instruments for diagnostic purposes.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
