First Shift (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday - Friday) Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our team in the Eastgate area. The Electro-Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling, testing, and inspecting barfeed systems according to engineering drawings, specifications, and standard operating procedures (SOP). This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to work with electrical components, wiring, and mechanical assemblies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assembly & Production Assemble components, subassemblies, and finished barfeed systems according to blueprints, schematics, and SOPs. Install mechanical components, including brackets, fasteners, motors, actuators, sensors, and control devices. Perform electrical wiring, cable routing, crimping, soldering, and connector installation. Safely operate hand tools, power tools (e.g., pipe wrenches, impact drills), measuring instruments, and test equipment. Operate a forklift as needed to move materials and equipment. Quality Control & Testing Conduct functional testing and troubleshooting on assembled units to ensure top product performance and quality. Inspect completed assemblies for accuracy, workmanship, and strict compliance with engineering standards. Read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of materials (BOM), and assembly instructions. Identify and report material shortages, defects, or process issues to engineering or production leadership. Operations & Safety Maintain accurate production records and complete required job documentation. Observe all safety and security procedures, use equipment properly, and report potentially unsafe conditions immediately. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall productivity. Perform other related duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED; OR 6 months to 1 year of related electro-mechanical assembly experience/training; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
