This position requires someone with a strong background in precision finishing who can read blueprints, understand finishing requirements, and consistently produce high-quality finished components. Experience polishing turbine blades or other precision components is highly preferred.

$22.00-$26.00 per hour

Experience:

5+ years preferred Higher compensation may be considered based on the candidate's level of polishing, deburring, and precision finishing experience. Responsibilities Perform polishing, deburring, blending, and finishing operations on manufactured components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and finishing specifications Remove burrs, sharp edges, imperfections, and excess material from finished parts Polish components to required surface finish and dimensional specifications Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, grinders, polishers, and other finishing equipment Visually inspect parts throughout the finishing process Use appropriate measuring and inspection equipment to verify finished components Handle parts weighing approximately 10-15 lbs. Maintain consistent quality while working with precision components Identify and report defects or parts that do not meet specifications Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications 5+ years of polishing, deburring, or precision finishing experience preferred Ability to read and understand blueprints and finishing requirements Strong experience with hand finishing, polishing, grinding, and deburring techniques Ability to consistently produce high-quality surface finishes Comfortable handling parts weighing up to approximately 10-15 lbs. Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and follow detailed work instructions Experience working with precision-machined components is preferred Turbine blade polishing experience is a major plus Compensation Starting pay is $22.00-$26.00 per hour , depending on experience and skill level. Candidates with extensive experience in turbine blade polishing, aerospace components, or other high-precision finishing applications may be considered for compensation above the posted range.
