Job Description

SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

Perform machine setup, operation, and first article inspections on multi-axis lathe or Swiss machines: o DMG Mori

NLX2500 CNC

Lathes o Tornos Deco 10, EVO Deco o Citizen R04, K16 and L20 o Tsugami

BW129Z, SS32

Troubleshoot maintenance and quality issues on the machine
Assist in meeting production schedules by producing parts as required by customers
Assist in meeting quality requirements
Make recommendations for improvement as it relates to production and quality
Communicate problems and procedural issues with appropriate supervision and departments
Assist in training other machinists as needed
Verify accuracy and completeness of all paperwork
Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum HS diploma or GED
Minimum 2 years in a CNC machining environment
Demonstrated experience using microscopes, calipers, micrometers, weights, optical comparators and other inspection devices
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with all other personnel
Ability to follow directions and perform complex duties
Good hand and eye coordination
Good manual dexterity
Good interpersonal skills

Pay:

$18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

swiss maching: 1 year (Preferred)
