Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate manual machining tools and equipment to produce precision metal components according to detailed blueprints and specifications. Your expertise will ensure high-quality craftsmanship, efficient machine setup, and adherence to safety standards, supporting our commitment to excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately to determine machining requirements Set up and operate manual machining tools such as lathes, grinders, calipers, micrometers, and hand tools with precision Perform measurements using precision measuring instruments like bore gauges and coordinate measuring machines for quality control Execute machine setups for manual machining processes, ensuring proper tooling and calibration Utilize measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols at all times Assist in tooling selection, machine adjustments, and troubleshooting during machining operations Experience Proven experience in manual machining with a strong understanding of machining tools, blueprint reading, and mechanical blueprint interpretation Familiarity with CNC programming concepts including M-code, G-code, Fanuc controls, and CAM programming is a plus but not mandatory Knowledge of CNC lathe and milling machine operations along with basic math skills for precise measurements Experience working with metal materials in manufacturing or industrial settings Ability to interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications for quality assurance Mechanical knowledge related to machine setup, tooling, grinders, power tools, and measurement instruments such as micrometers and bore gauges Commitment to safety standards including proper use of measurement tools and hand tools in a manufacturing environment Join us at CAM Industrial Solutions where your craftsmanship drives excellence!
