What You'll Do As an OTM Machinist, you'll be responsible for manufacturing precision components while ensuring every part meets our high standards for quality and accuracy.
Your responsibilities will include:
Set up, program, and operate manual lathes and CNC machine centers Manufacture precision parts to engineering specifications Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and routings Perform quality inspections on finished components Troubleshoot machining issues and assist with machine maintenance and repairs Work directly with engineers to improve manufacturing processes and design efficiencies Train and mentor fellow machinists on equipment and best practices Utilize our ERP system to report production, scrap, and rework Follow production schedules while maintaining exceptional quality standards Assist in other production areas as needed, including backup saw operation What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and thrives in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
Qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent 3-5 years of machining experience Experience setting up and operating CNC and manual lathes Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and routings Strong mathematical skills, including metric conversions Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting abilities Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively Commitment to producing high-quality work with attention to detail Why Join Nigrelli?
