Nigrelli, Inc. is a locally owned manufacturing company based in the Kiel/School Hill area. Through our On-Target Machine division, we provide precision machining and manufacturing services while maintaining a hands-on, team-oriented work environment. We are seeking an experienced CNC/Manual Machinist to join our production team. This is a 1st shift position. This position is responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machining centers and manual lathes to manufacture quality parts according to customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who takes pride in producing accurate work, solving problems, and helping others develop their machining skills. Schedule Full-time, day-shift position Monday through Friday No rotating shifts Compensation Compensation is based on machining experience, skills, and qualifications What You'll Do Set up, program, and operate CNC machining centers and manual lathes Manufacture parts according to blueprints, specifications, routings, and production requirements Complete quality inspections of finished job-shop production parts Use measuring tools and inspection equipment to verify accuracy Make machine adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machines Work with engineers to identify potential design and production efficiencies Train and assist other machinists on various machines and processes Follow production schedules provided through the company's ERP system Accurately report completed production work, scrap, and rework in the ERP system Provide backup support for saw operations as needed Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements Perform other duties as assigned What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Three to five years of machinist experience preferred Experience setting up and operating CNC machining centers and/or manual lathes Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and manufacturing routings Ability to perform basic shop mathematics, including metric conversions Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to train and support other team members Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic Why Work for Nigrelli, Inc.? Employees may occasionally be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The position may require lifting or moving materials and parts weighing up to 75 pounds. Employees must also possess the visual ability necessary to inspect parts and safely operate machining equipment. Safety shoes, safety glasses, and any other company-designated personal protective equipment are required.
