Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation. Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks. Experience with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality control instruments. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and the ability to follow strict safety protocols. Hands-on experience with shop tools, tooling setup, materials handling equipment like forklifts (certification preferred), and assembly line operations. Basic understanding of CAD software for interpreting design specifications; experience with CAM programming is a plus.
