Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC machining centers, CNC lathes, milling machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, and flexo presses. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of parts. Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain consistent production flow. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all safety standards in production, handling materials properly, and using hand tools correctly. Assist with materials handling, tooling setup, packaging finished products, and supporting assembly line operations as needed. Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes using CAD (Computer-Aided Design), CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing), CNC programming, and factory best practices. Qualifications Proven experience operating CNC machines such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with Fanuc controls or other programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation. Ability to perform shop math calculations necessary for machining and fabrication tasks. Experience with precision measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and other quality control instruments. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments and the ability to follow strict safety protocols. Hands-on experience with shop tools, tooling setup, materials handling equipment like forklifts (certification preferred), and assembly line operations. Basic understanding of CAD software for interpreting design specifications; experience with CAM programming is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues efficiently. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly desirable.

Pay:

$25.21 - $30.36 per hour Expected hours: 12.0 per week
