Operate machinery utilizing techniques developed through training practices based on SOP's and on the job training. Ensure quality standards are achieved through understanding of said standards and continuous monitoring of product output.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
(include but not limited to):
Read and understand all posted work instructions, and Hose Construction Documents
Must be able to work independently to complete daily tasks assigned in allotted time frame.
Computer skills; Excel, Word and Access for schedules and record keeping. IQMS, Shop Data, IQRF.
Labeling product for delivery to customers.
Read, understand, and complete all required documentation associated with production.
Tracking Records including spool, scrap, and material consumption. Adhere to departmental and company quality standards.
Tasks must be performed within scheduled times.
Ideas and suggestions to improve product and/or processes.
Ability to use measurement tools such as caliper, pin gauge, and tape measure. Must keep a clean and safe workplace and follow all company policies and procedures.
Follow all current
ISO 9001
Quality system procedures, when applicable.
5S and organization of the work environment is required.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of High school diploma or general education degree (preferred). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
Must have an excellent attendance record.
Good organization and prioritizing skills.
Ability to use hand-held scanning unit, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, stand for long periods of time, safely operate material handling equipment, work on concrete flooring and varying temperatures, lift up to 75 lbs.
, and climb ladders. Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
