Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Pin Chaser and become the essential force behind a smooth and enjoyable bowling experience! As a vital member of the bowling center staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the pin-setting equipment, ensuring the pins are perfectly aligned and ready for players to enjoy. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create a fun, safe, and efficient environment for bowlers of all ages. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a lively entertainment venue where teamwork and enthusiasm are celebrated every day. Duties Operate and maintain pin-setting machinery to ensure accurate pin placement and reset after each frame. Monitor equipment performance, troubleshoot issues promptly, and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime. Assist in setting up lanes for league play, tournaments, or special events by ensuring all pins are correctly positioned. Conduct safety checks on equipment and work areas to uphold health and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure the lanes are ready for customers, providing excellent service and support. Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, equipment malfunctions, and safety inspections. Respond quickly to any technical issues or emergencies that may arise during operations. Requirements Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and lift moderate weights throughout shifts. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and precision in equipment handling. Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and energetic approach to work. Basic mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn about pin-setting machinery. Prior experience in maintenance or technical roles is a plus but not required; training will be provided. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in a fast-paced environment.
