Commercial Embroiderer
Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Commercial Embroiderer to join our team. The Commercial Embroiderer is responsible for operating industrial embroidery equipment to produce high-quality embroidered apparel, uniforms, promotional products, and custom merchandise. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to maintaining quality standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Operate single-head and multi-head commercial embroidery machines. Load and prepare embroidery designs, files, thread colors, and machine settings. Hoop garments and materials accurately to ensure proper alignment and placement. Monitor embroidery production runs and troubleshoot machine issues as needed. Inspect finished products for quality, accuracy, and consistency. Trim threads, remove backing materials, and prepare completed items for packaging or further production. Maintain embroidery equipment through routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance. Organize inventory of threads, backing materials, needles, and supplies. Assist with other production, decorating, or fulfillment duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Required Skills Experience with Smartstitch, Brother, or similar commercial embroidery equipment. Knowledge of embroidery digitizing and design preparation. Familiarity with apparel decoration, screen printing, heat transfer, or promotional product production. Ability to identify and resolve common embroidery production issues quickly and efficiently. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. Manual dexterity required for handling garments, threads, and machine components. Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and quality. Required Availability Availability to work weekdays, and overtime as needed. Flexibility to work additional hours during peak production periods and seasonal demand. Dependable attendance and punctuality required. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience. Opportunities for overtime.
