7:00pm-7:00am Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Assembler to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have experience working on an assembly line, utilizing hand and power tools to fabricate and assemble components efficiently. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work collaboratively in a warehouse environment to meet production goals. Responsibilities Assemble components according to specifications and blueprints, ensuring high-quality standards are met. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively during the assembly process. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality control standards. lift up too 50lbs Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient assembly line workflow. Fabricate parts as needed for assembly, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Assist with the operation of forklifts as required for material handling within the facility. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly. Qualifications Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility is preferred. Familiarity with assembly line processes and techniques is highly desirable. Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment related to assembly tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues in machinery or equipment. Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods while performing assembly tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on producing high-quality work. This is a quick hire opportunity with immediate start available from Monday. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various industrial machinery, ensuring production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently. The ideal applicant will have experience with CNC machines, fabrication processes, and manufacturing equipment, contributing to high-quality output and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a variety of machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up and run machines accurately. Perform routine inspections and measurements using precision tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure dimensional accuracy. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Maintain safety standards by following proper procedures, using personal protective equipment, and adhering to factory safety protocols. Assist with machine setup, tooling changes, and calibration to optimize performance. Support quality control efforts through inspection of finished products and adherence to specifications. Handle materials safely using forklifts or other handling equipment when necessary. Document production activities accurately and report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks and materials handling to ensure seamless workflow.

Experience:

Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, or CNC programming is highly preferred. Familiarity with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is advantageous. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, shop math, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical drawings. Knowledge of fabrication processes including stamping, machining, welding, or assembly line operations. Ability to use precision measuring instruments like micrometers and calipers for quality assurance. Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience demonstrating adherence to safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Basic understanding of industrial troubleshooting techniques for mechanical or electronic issues. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical documentation accurately. Experience with shop tools such as hand tools, tooling setups, and materials handling equipment like forklifts is beneficial.
