7am-7pm Operated and monitored the Krantz tenter frame used to finish and process open-width fabrics. Set up and adjusted tenter frame equipment according to fabric type, width, weight, temperature, speed, and finishing specifications. Led daily tenter frame operations and helped coordinate workflow to meet production schedules and quality requirements. Monitored fabric as it passed through the machine to ensure proper width, shrinkage, appearance, tension, and overall quality. Made adjustments to machine settings to maintain consistent production and prevent defects. Trained and assisted other employees on proper tenter frame operation, safety procedures, and production standards. Performed routine equipment inspections and reported mechanical issues or maintenance needs to management or maintenance personnel. Loaded, threaded, and guided fabric through the tenter frame while maintaining proper alignment and tension. Worked with different types of fabrics and fibers, including cotton, polyester, blends, fleece, jersey, and other knit and woven materials. Recorded production information and monitored finished fabric to ensure it met customer specifications. Performed quality checks including measurements for fabric width, shrinkage, appearance, and consistency. Helped troubleshoot production problems and made adjustments to minimize downtime and fabric waste. Maintained a clean and organized work area and followed company safety, quality, and production procedures. Assisted management with coordinating employees and ensuring the tenter frame department operated efficiently. Worked in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while standing for extended periods and handling fabric rolls and materials.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
