  • Production to join our team at our Cayce, SC bakery. As an Operator 3, Bakery
  • Production, you will be accountable for operating automated production and packaging equipment, ensuring product quality, food safety, and production efficiency standards are met.
This role plays a key part in maintaining seamless production operations, supporting equipment performance, and contributing to a safe, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Core Accountabilities (What You'll Be Doing) Operate and adjust production and packaging equipment to ensure products meet quality and food safety specifications. Monitor production processes and equipment performance to maintain operational efficiency and minimize downtime. Troubleshoot equipment and product issues, escalating concerns when necessary to ensure uninterrupted production. Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and operational records. Support equipment start-ups, shutdowns, changeovers, and preventative maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with GMPs, production schedules, recipes, and established operating procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas while contributing to overall team performance and production goals. Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring to the Table) Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience. Equipment operation, product knowledge, and basic troubleshooting skills. Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations. Strong communication and observational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production requirements. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, climbing, pushing, and pulling. Must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients for Success) High School Diploma or equivalent. Basic computer skills. Previous food manufacturing experience. Experience operating automated production or packaging equipment. Familiarity with production schedules, running orders, recipes, and changeover processes. Work Environment Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, frozen, dusty, and loud manufacturing environments. Frequent exposure to moving mechanical equipment. Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
