Job Overview We are seeking a motivated Zinc Plater for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying zinc coatings to metal parts through electroplating processes, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where precision and attention to detail are essential for success. Duties Operate zinc plating equipment and maintain proper chemical levels to ensure consistent coating quality Interpret production documents and specifications to prepare parts for plating processes Handle materials safely using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and safety gear Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment in compliance with safety protocols and manufacturing standards Qualifications Previous experience in industrial painting, powder coating, or electroplating is preferred but not required; training will be provided Ability to interpret manufacturing instructions and use basic math skills for measurements and calculations Knowledge of safety procedures related to PPE use, respiratory protection, and handling hazardous materials Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform visual color comparisons accurately Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments safely and effectively We're an equal opportunity employer.
