Cargill is seeking a Machine Operator Leader to guide daily production in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will lead a team of operators, set up and run equipment, monitor quality, and ensure adherence to strict safety and food-safety standards. You will troubleshoot basic mechanical issues, coordinate with maintenance, and keep accurate production records. As a key frontline leader, you will coach and train team members, promote continuous improvement, and support Cargill's commitment to integrity, innovation, and sustainable food production. Responsibilities Lead daily machine operations to meet production targets and quality standards Set up, operate, and adjust manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently Monitor product quality and perform routine checks and documentation Troubleshoot and escalate mechanical or process issues as needed Enforce and model strict safety, food-safety, and housekeeping practices Train, coach, and mentor machine operators and new team members Coordinate with maintenance and supervisors to minimize downtime Maintain accurate production, quality, and safety records Support continuous improvement and lean initiatives on the line Communicate shift handoffs and prioritize tasks for the team Required Skills Machine operation Production scheduling Mechanical troubleshooting Quality control Safety compliance Lockout/Tagout procedures Basic maintenance Lean manufacturing practices Team leadership Data entry and reporting
