Overview Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Concrete Block Machine Operator and become a vital contributor to producing high-quality concrete blocks used in construction projects. In this energetic role, you will operate and maintain concrete block manufacturing equipment, ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency at every step. Your expertise will help us deliver durable, reliable products that meet industry standards while fostering a safe and productive work environment. Duties Operate concrete block making machines, ensuring proper setup and calibration according to blueprints and specifications Monitor machine performance during production runs, adjusting settings as needed to maintain quality standards Handle raw materials safely using forklifts and other material handling equipment, adhering strictly to safety protocols Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery, including power tools and fabrication equipment, to prevent downtime Measure finished blocks using tape measures and other tools to verify dimensional accuracy and adherence to blueprint specifications Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory protection and safety gear at all times Conduct quality checks on finished products, including stone finishing and polishing, to ensure they meet durability and aesthetic standards Assist with warehouse organization, materials storage, and loading/unloading of raw materials and finished goods Skills Proven experience operating manufacturing or construction machinery with mechanical knowledge of equipment functions Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and machining equipment for fabrication tasks Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments, including PPE use, safety protocol adherence, and hazard awareness Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and blueprint interpretations Experience with materials handling equipment such as forklifts; certification is a plus Knowledge of blueprint reading for following detailed specifications during production processes Familiarity with stone finishing techniques, polishing methods, and millwork processes in manufacturing settings Prior warehouse or industrial experience preferred; ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently Embark on a rewarding career where your skills directly impact the quality of construction materials used across communities.
