Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Print Operator and Intake Specialist for a contract opportunity in Towson, MD. This role is ideal for a print production professional who enjoys working with customers, preparing files for production, and operating digital print and copier equipment in a deadline-driven environment. The Print Operator will support daily print operations from order intake through production, helping ensure accurate, high-quality output and a smooth customer experience.   • Process incoming print orders and confirm job specifications, deadlines, and production requirements.
  • Prepare digital files for print production, including basic prepress review and formatting support.
  • Operate digital print, copier, and related production equipment to complete customer orders.
  • Communicate with customers or internal teams regarding order status, file issues, and production questions.
  • Maintain quality standards by checking finished materials for accuracy, alignment, color, and completeness.
  • Support administrative intake tasks, job tracking, and general production workflow coordination. Compensation and Benefits
  • Pay:
    $21.00 per hour.
  • Schedule:
    Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Location:
    Towson, MD 21286.
  • Job Type:
    Contract/Temporary. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Process print orders from intake through production.
  • Prepare files for digital printing and copier production.
  • Operate digital print and copier equipment.
  • Communicate with customers and team members to support accurate order completion.
  • 3+ years of print or prepress operations experience.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to manage multiple print jobs, priorities, and deadlines in a production-focused environment.
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a printing, publishing, copy center, or digital production environment.
  • Knowledge of print file setup, production workflows, and common finishing requirements.
  • Comfort troubleshooting basic file or equipment-related issues.
