We're looking for a fabricator who can weld, cut properly, and build quality work for our automotive repair shop and fabrication business in Bloomington. What you'll do:

• Weld and cut properly on a variety of automotive and fabrication projects — cutting, grinding, fitting, and finishing work to a high standard
• Fabricate, modify, and repair custom parts, brackets, mounts, and components
• Read a tape measure, drawings, and measurements accurately and lay out work before cutting
• Work with common shop equipment and hand and power tools safely
• Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized, and check your finished work for fit and quality What we're looking for:
• Proven fabrication experience — you must be able to weld, cut properly, and show it in a hands-on weld and cut test
• Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding is a plus
• A good eye for fit, finish, and detail, and the ability to work independently and on a team
• Your own basic tools and a reliable work ethic $20
• 25 per hour, based on experience and skill demonstrated in the shop.
