General Manager -

Sign Manufacturing Operations Location:

Central Louisiana (approximately one hour north of Lafayette)We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a well-established, growing sign manufacturing company serving national customers across the automotive, quick-service restaurant, convenience store, hospitality, and retail industries. The company operates a 60,000+ square-foot manufacturing facility and provides turnkey solutions including design, engineering, fabrication, project management, installation, and maintenance of branded signage programs nationwide. The business manufactures and supports a broad range of exterior and interior signage products, including illuminated channel letters, cabinet signs, monument signs, pylon signs, directional signage, wall signs, vinyl graphics, branded canopies, and custom signage systems for multi-site national accounts. The company manages large-scale rollout programs, refresh initiatives, store conversions, and maintenance projects for some of the country's most recognized brands. The ideal candidate will have successfully managed a manufacturing operation with 50+ employees and possess direct experience within the sign manufacturing industry. This individual must have a strong background in production management, operations, project execution, supply chain, quality control, and workforce leadership. Experience overseeing sign fabrication, welding, painting, electrical assembly, permitting, installation coordination, and national account management is highly desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading all day-to-day manufacturing and operational activities. Driving operational excellence, productivity, quality, and profitability. Managing production, engineering, project management, and installation teams. Developing and mentoring supervisors and department leaders. Supporting strategic growth initiatives and expanding relationships with national account customers. Implementing process improvements and scalable systems to support continued growth. Maintaining a strong safety culture and employee engagement within the facility. Collaborating with executive leadership to execute long-term growth plans. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong business acumen, proven manufacturing leadership experience, and a track record of growing organizations through operational discipline, customer satisfaction, and team development.

Pay:

$150,000.00 - $225,000.00 per year
