Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Plant Manager to provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for production, facilities, safety, quality, financial performance, and organizational development. The Plant Manager will strengthen operational accountability, develop plant leadership, drive continuous improvement, and position the facility for continued growth.

Essential Duties:

Oversee plant production, facilities management, safety, quality, and overall operational performance. Lead and develop plant management personnel across production, maintenance, warehouse, safety, and frontline operations. Establish plant goals and translate organizational strategy into measurable operational priorities. Coach, develop, and empower supervisors and managers through delegation, performance management, mentoring, and succession planning. Foster an accountable, collaborative leadership culture that enables managers to make effective decisions and develop professionally. Ensure production, customer service, safety, quality, productivity, and financial objectives are consistently achieved. Monitor and evaluate plant performance using operational and financial data, identifying opportunities for improvement and corrective action. Prepare annual capital, equipment, and overhead budgets and manage plant expenditures in accordance with established financial objectives. Develop and submit capital expenditure requests and support capital planning initiatives. Determine personnel, equipment, materials, and other resources necessary to maintain safe, efficient, and uninterrupted plant operations. Implement sustainable process and procedure improvements utilizing continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. Organize departments, teams, and resources to support efficient operations and future growth. Partner with executive leadership to establish short- and long-term operating goals and support expansion initiatives and organizational change. Collaborate effectively with sales, engineering, accounting, purchasing, safety, and other functional departments. Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as insurance, fire, and safety requirements. Identify and resolve operational issues that may affect employees, customers, production, safety, or broader business objectives. Promote a visible and consistent commitment to safety, quality, sustainability, operational excellence, and employee development.

Requirements/Skills:

Progressive leadership experience within a manufacturing plant environment. Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, or a related field with at least five years of manufacturing plant leadership experience; or at least 10 years of relevant manufacturing management experience in lieu of a degree. Previous experience as a Plant Manager, Operations Manager, Production Manager, or comparable senior manufacturing leader preferred. Demonstrated ability to lead complex manufacturing operations while balancing frontline execution with long-term strategic planning. Strong understanding of plant financials, including budgeting, capital planning, cost management, and the financial impact of operational decisions. Proven ability to develop supervisors and managers into confident, accountable leaders. Demonstrated success improving safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, cost performance, or other plant performance measures. Working knowledge of OSHA requirements and applicable state and local safety regulations. Experience implementing sustainable process improvements and repeatable operational solutions. Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and decision-making abilities. Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and executive-level communication skills. Ability to build trust, establish clear expectations, delegate effectively, and create accountability throughout an organization. Ability to collaborate effectively with employees, managers, executives, and cross-functional teams. Ability to respect and leverage the knowledge of an experienced workforce while driving organizational improvement and change. High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and business ethics. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new business and manufacturing systems.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to work in both office and manufacturing/production environments. Ability to regularly walk through and inspect production, warehouse, maintenance, and facility areas. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods as required to oversee plant operations. Ability to safely navigate an active manufacturing environment and comply with all required safety procedures and personal protective equipment requirements. Ability to communicate effectively with employees throughout the facility and respond promptly to operational and safety concerns. Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Pay:

$105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
