Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Production department, which includes employee supervision within several work areas, labor allocation, developing and setting goals, enforcement of policies and procedures and maintaining safety and compliance. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership and communication skills and a process improvement mindset.
Essential Functions:
Promotes a high-performance culture by motivating, coaching, counseling, and developing Associates
Works with Operations leadership to develop KPIs and hold Associates accountable to meet and exceed production output goals and deadlines
Proactively works to identify and resolve roadblocks and bottlenecks to meet and exceed production output. Reacts promptly to challenges such as mistakes or delays
Performs quality control and quality assurance inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to Company brand standards and specifications
Ensures accurate recordkeeping and inventory management within Company databases; identifies, resolves, and notes any variances
Maintains manufacturing equipment by coordinating preventative maintenance actions, scheduling prepares, and facilitating team discussions to identify equipment issues and solutions
Oversees cross-training of Associates to eliminate gaps in job knowledge and maintain labor allocation flexibility
Maintains a safe and secure work environment
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
At least 4 years of experience managing people in a production environment required
Experience in production demand planning and process coordination required
Quality control and inventory management experience required
Experience in Lean/Six Sigma work environment preferred
Proficiency in Excel required
Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and manage time both independently as well as in a team environment
Must possess a reliable personal vehicle
Must be able to pass a background check in accordance with state regulations

Pay Range:
$23.65
