Working Hours:
Shifts run from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM, typically scheduled for 10-hour days, four to five days weekly based on operational needs.

Team Oversight:
You will lead a team of 3-6 staff members. This is a hands-on role; should a team member be absent, you will be expected to step in and operate the production line yourself.
Requirements:
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S., as we do not provide sponsorship. Reporting to the Production Manager, you will oversee all safety, quality, and output metrics for your shift. This role involves direct management and instruction of hourly staff. Success in this position requires the adaptability to work weekends and exceed 40 hours per week as business demands.
Core Duties:
Help maintain a safe working environment by ensuring full compliance with PPE standards. Finalize all necessary production documentation and shift reports. Promptly report any injuries, unsafe behaviors, or hazardous conditions to the Production Manager. Ensure every item manufactured adheres to established quality standards. Support the facility's Preventive Maintenance initiatives as needed. Help the team achieve all designated plant compliance targets. Operate forklifts safely while following the established maintenance routine. Follow the required schedule for product sampling. Help maintain a clean and organized facility that meets or exceeds all housekeeping standards. Manage and allocate daily resources effectively to ensure all shift production goals are met. Participate in company-led training to continuously develop your professional skill set. Drive team performance to meet or exceed standard production efficiency targets on every line. Ensure all shift personnel receive comprehensive training in safety, quality, and operational procedures. Collaborate with Maintenance or perform troubleshooting to resolve mechanical issues, ensuring optimal production and safety. Streamline product changeover processes to improve overall efficiency.
Required Competencies:
Mechanical troubleshooting and repair proficiency. Strong leadership capabilities. Effective supervision and instructional skills. Ability to motivate team members. Fundamental computer literacy. Manufacturing background, with plastic extrusion experience being advantageous. Strong decision-making and analytical problem-solving skills. Clear communication skills across all organizational levels.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Background:
One to two years of experience as a line operator or in a similar capacity. Prior experience or training in a supervisory role. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is considered a plus.
Physical Demands:
Capacity to remain standing and mobile for at least 8 hours straight. Ability to engage in physical labor for long durations, even in extreme temperatures. Capability to use limbs to manually handle and move finished products. Full range of motion required, including bending, twisting, reaching, squatting, and mounting industrial machinery.
Key Proficiencies:
Leadership and personnel management. Application of Lean Manufacturing methodologies. Expertise in plastic extrusion processes. Experience with injection molding techniques. Experience with blow molding operations.
