The production supervisor is responsible for supervising production associates in a manufacturing and assembly environment. The position assigns work, implements policies and procedures and recommends improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 5:30am Essential Functions and Responsibilities Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development.

Manages cross training of all associates in their assigned area.

Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.

Ensure Pre/Post shift sanitation requirements are completed to include: o All machinery, equipment, walls and floors are properly cleaned o Appropriate documentation has been filled out correctly Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiencyAssume responsibility for manufacturing and shipping processes in the plantInspect products prior to shipment to ensure accurate labeling and record keepingEnsure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctlyManage departmental performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports to manager.

Manage department prioritiesTrack Absenteeism and timekeepingEnforce GMP policiesWork within

regulations at all times and immediately report anything to be found out of compliance to Production Manager and Quality Control Supervisor.

The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
